
What is the Flames All-Star Program?
The Burlingame Flames All-Star Program field teams in the 8U, 10U,12U and 16U divisions and runs from May through July. The teams will play between 5 and 8 tournaments during the summer. The focus of the program will be to advance skill development and fundamentals, high-level gameplay, and continue their love of the sport.

BGS parents, if your daughter is playing for the Burlingame Flames All-Star Team this summer, you won't want to miss these key events.
Tryouts: Tryouts will be held at Ray Park (registration begins 30 minutes before tryout):
10U Flames | May 4th | Tryouts Start at 5:00pm |
12U Flames | May 4th | Tryouts Start at 6:30pm |
8U Flames | May 3rd | Tryouts Start at 5:00pm |
Pitchers and catchers will be assessed separately during the last 15-20 minutes of each tryout. Please bring all your gear to the tryout.
Other Information:
PROGRAM COST
8U - Approximately $425-$475 per player (depending on the number of tournaments)
10U/12U/14U – Approximately $525-$575 per player
Fees include the cost of tournament entry fees, uniforms and miscellaneous fees. No player will be turned away for inability to pay, if your daughter would like to try out for the summer softball season, but needs financial assistance, please contact the all-star coordinators directly at [email protected]
TEAM JOBS
All parents are asked to help support their team. Jobs include team manager, snack manager (organize snacks for the long tournament days), medic, team organization site, scorekeepers, coach gift, photographer, etc.
BILLIE SUE TOURNAMENT
The Billie Sue tournament is a Burlingame tradition, to help support the effort we are asking each family to work 6 hours (more if you have multiple flames) to support the effort of putting this on.
